'Takin' the Back Roads' is a new chapter in my music. It's kind of a musical street directory, it's an album that tells you where to go. In a way
it's also my 'heartbreak' album. One gentleman upon hearing it
remarked “Somebody has broken Pastel’s heart! Who is he? I will kill him!”
On this
record I wanted to explore the darker side of life and see
where it leads me by 'Takin' the Back Roads' Maybe I'll see
you there some time?
